Sharon Chapman is one of the Austin American-Statesman's entertainment editors, coordinating coverage of the music and food scenes. She also writes about being a pet owner in Central Texas. She commonly writes about the music scene in Austin and the kinds of bands that play around the city. I read a story that she wrote about the line-up for the trail of lights performers and the availability of tickets for the event.

Stephanie Strom writes about mostly food related topics whether it be the price of foods or the healthfulness of the foods in our supermarket. I read a story she wrote about a teen that went around town buying chickens to see whether they were getting more for the kosher chickens as they are more expensive, or if they are exactly the same as the regular chickens.
