The Z-Report Blog (mimic)
After watching the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder game last night it was clear defense, defense, and defense. The Houston Rockets have been said to be a real contender this year with the addition of center Dwight Howard, but one key element is missing said by most NBA critics. What is that? It's clear defense. The Rockets scored 73 points in the first half of last nights game. You would like that is outstanding, yet the Thunder returned the favor by scoring 59 points. Although in the second half of the game unleashed the Houston Rockets we have come to expect. The Rockets scored only 19 points in the second half to result in a 104-92 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. If you are reading this I ask you who had the best offense last year? You would think that team would have won the NBA championship, yet the Thunder barley made it out of the first round of the playoffs and against who? The Houston Rockets in fact. The Miami Heat won the NBA championship the the number one ranked defense. Coach Paul Bryant Jr. said something interesting and only fitting to the Rockets, "Offense sells tickets, defense wins championships."Well that's the Z-Report, come back next week knuckle-heads!
