The 56th Grammy awards occurred on Sunday night, the 26th of January. Early into the night around 5pm the cast of E! News arrived on the Grammy Red Carpet ready to interview celebrities on their fashion, careers and more. The time flew by and before anyone knew it, 7 p.m. rolled around and Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z opened the show. Awards and performances filled the entire night with excitement such as Lorde taking home song of the year for "Royals". Katy Perry performed her single, currently number one on iTunes, "Dark Horse", and Taylor Swift performed her song from the album "Red", "All Too Well". Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar stole the show with their collaboration. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis took home four awards. Daft Punk took home album of the year.
