My favorite three blogs of the list are The Hoofprint | www.whshoofprint.com, Southwestshadow.com, and Inklingsnews.com. I prefer these three in that order mainly because of the layout that pops up upon initially opening the online newspaper's site. The Hoofprint is my favorite because of the modern design which makes it look more interactive than many of the other websites. Highlighting the pictures for each story and having a scroll over to click option I found very appealing and very eye-catching. The Southwest Shadow online newspaper looked a lot like ours, but I like the easiness with which comments can be placed and stories can be discussed. My third and last favorite, The Inkling, I prefer because the graphic designs across the type are very well done. 

The two stories that I chose from the Best of SNO are the Varsity cutting story and the teen love story. I chose the first because it's a topic I write about and hearing other opinions and reading other sports' writer's voices about sports is interesting to me. I chose the teen love story because I was intrigued to find out how a writer could take a sappy story like this and turn it into something that someone would actually want to read. Both have good photos to match the story and good interviews that relate very well to the topic of the story.
